LA 23 Development Company and the Plaquemines Port Harbor and Terminal District Expansion Project

The objective of this project is to develop a terminal facility specifically to take advantage of the significant geographic advantage of the location to provide deep water, unrestricted access to the Mississippi River. Located at the mouth of the Mississippi River, the port provides water access to 33 states allowing businesses to benefit from barge, rail and interstate highway access across much of the United States. The port is approximately 50 river miles south of the Port of New Orleans and adjacent to the Gulf of Mexico, 

Plaquemines Port is consistently ranked among the top ports in the country. Plaquemines Port Harbor and Terminal District is within close proximity of Latin American ports and the Panama Canal to help facilitate waterborne commerce. LA 23 Development Company, LLC (Devco) has designated Brownstone Associates as a business development coordination consultant for the Texas area.
